As with previous bottlings, Suntory is not disclosing the age of the malt whiskies used. Presumably, whiskies up to 20 years old were used again, although the majority of the whiskies used will be significantly younger.

this single cask bottling is extremely rare

This bottling from Nikka was launched on the Japanese market for the Year of the Rooster in 1993

Only select Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey was used for this exceptional bottling

This version was marketed as "Mild & Smooth" and had a low alcohol content of 40% instead of the usual 43%

but is in no way inferior in quality and taste

The result is a whisky with a very subtle and beautiful tequila aroma on the nose and a veritable explosion of tequila and malt whisky flavors in the mouth

The Nikka G&G miniature was simply dressed in a cowboy vest and hat

Only a few bottles remain

The 750ml size was never available in Germany and is extremely sought after by collectors
