Modern Tribal Primitive Wood Ball Necklace with Unique ClosureHandmade of wood, this necklace has 23 perfect wood balls strung together with tight knots in between each ball. There is a wood oval closure with a piece of wood that latches through locking the necklace closed. Its both primitive yet modern creating a fusion of classic beauty in the simplicity of its design. Personally I love the closure in front but for a more traditional look, the closure at the back of the neck holds promise too!

The name derives from the Quechua words aya (meaning "dead" or "soul") and k'uchu (meaning "corner" or "dwelling")
