'Sentinel' was found as a chance seedling from 'Fastigata' by William Goddard of Canada. This blue green color adds a lot in the landscape and fits in nearly everyone's garden due to its narrow compact habit. 'Sentinel' may reach 6 8 ft in height

The bright warm colors of the red bark stand out so nicely accompanied by snowfall and this is one of our personal favorite times to view the beauty of ‘Sango kaku’
