Antique Victorian 1870s Velvet bustle dressAmazing 1870s Victorian bustle dress fashioned of a cotton velvet with silk pile. This dress is a deep wine burgundy in color. The dress is of a one piece construction and is unfinished with buttons marked with location but never sewn on. There is a 2" tear near the top buttons (see pic) perhaps the reason it was never finished. The inside tailoring is magnificent I have never seen an undamaged lining this looks amazing with a polished cotton striped

The dress does have both hand and machine stitched seams

This vintage velvet ribbon is just beautiful

Belt measures 73"L and is 6"W

Color: sea green

as I only discovered it after the shoot) is a wonderful belt with back ties to tie into a giant bow on the bustle back

The larger piece measures 7 1/2"L and is 7"W

Braid measures 10 Yards L and is 1/4"W
