Antique seascape coastal naive oil painting on boardA lovely example of an Antique coastal, seascape, naive style, oil painting, featuring what appears to be cockle pickers with baskets on their backs and catches of fish in baskets on the beach, set against a backdrop of coastal cliffs and crashing waves. The painting is in an original Victorian gilt frame which has been half painted in white paint setting the artwork off beautifully. Measurements are 53cm W x 44cm H.

The portrait is painted on thick card and measures 35cm H x 28cm W

This lovely bucolic British country scene is painted on canvas in oil paints and framed in a gilt frame

There is one small area of paper which has been repaired

The canvas measures 51cm H x 41cm W

All the paint work is original and shows subtle signs of use

There are specs of black paint loss throughout but the pattern is still vivid

Good overall condition with nice paint work and just a couple of surface scratches with age

sits within it's original gilt decorative frame or can be removed if prefered
