A charming pearlware Cow Creamer, c1800, probably Portobello. Milkmaid figure.Description. A fine Pearlware cow creamer, complete with well modelled milkmaid figure (unusually, she faces towards the rear of the cow, her facial features being visible) probably made in Portobello, Scotland, the black and white colour scheme being generally distinctive to that region. Unmarked, as are all of these pieces. Condition. The cover appears to have been restored. No other apparent damage, chips or restoration. Dimensions. 21cm in length.
