2016 Chambertin, Grand Cru, Vieilles Vignes, Domaine Perrot-Minot, BurgundyThe 2016 Charmes Chambertin Grand Cru has a slightly muffled bouquet that requires more clarity. Dark berry fruit, hints of leather and undergrowth. The palate is medium bodied with supple tannin, and although it is missing a little depth, it is driven by the fine bead of acidity and feels pert and fresh on the finish very "Charmes".
