Barrel Aged Peated Buckwheat BochetThis is a second fill of peated single malt whisky barrels. The base mead was a buckwheat trjniak made with just gently caramelised honey and water. Aged for 10 months. The distinct aromas of buckwheat honey combine beautifully with the peat notes typical of Islay. Semi sweet and pretty drinkable :)

Maceration took a tad over four months

The combined maceration took eight months and the final fruit intensity is 510 grams per litre of sour cherries and freshly pressed
